I admire HRC for her intelligence & command of a vast amount of experience and knowledge. But she is not perfect, nobody is. But it was tragic for this country that even though she won the popular vote, she didn’t win the electoral college in 2016. Then we would have never had to deal with Trump

Short of amending the Constitution there are real things we can push to fix so another tragedy like the 2016 election doesn’t happen again. The National Popular Vote Interstate Compact. 17 states & DC have already signed on. That is 209 of the 270 electoral votes needed.

I agree it needs amending, but it is not happening in today’s divisive environment. Amending the Constitution is a very difficult unless there is a broad consensus. I hope that we defeat this and the GOP loses enough support to make real reform possible, but I’m not going to hold my breath.
