1st milling of a slew of ash boards for a commission, to be followed by the 2nd final milling in a week or so to flatten the inevitable movement b/c, we see you, twitchy lil ash boards 🪵

They're substantial trees, high m³ count, tricky access, unknown budget...there is, however, a splendid wee coffee shop enroute so we're going for that, alone.

A large wooden bowl filled with red yarns, some of them sporting tiny golden wren brooches that were for sale in the shop next to the yarn shop & just had to jump into my shopping basket, all on green grass in a darkening garden.

Have been rather haunting the local yarn shop for postbox reds & glorious garnet shades & today they were finally in stock! Some is earmarked for a promised gift, & the rest loveliness for a stitch & witch coven valentines craft ceilidh of lovehearts, ladybirds, & little birds...
