Thank you, Anita. She is now. Shortly after adopting her, I noticed she seemed to have pain in her mouth. At the shelter, I was told she was missing a few teeth, “from an injury.” It turned out she has a serious autoimmune condition called “stomatitis” in her mouth. She had extensive dental surgery.
