I own a couple of those small companies, and we manufacture right here in the USA.
Most of our component suppliers are in the US as well. But a lot of the raw materials we use come from abroad with no chance of domestic supply.
This nonsense is going to break a lot of small businesses.

The boy’s face was alight with joy as his father pushed him ahead with increasing speed. He was clearly having a good time, and it was truly a delight to see.

Small business guy here: Honestly, I’d rather not be in the business of controlling my employees lives at all. Healthcare should be portable, private, and off my P&L.
But if I had to choose, I’d still opt for the best insurance at the lowest price. Just like I do today.
