:/ Yeah. Tbh these days I started to get in a habit of clicking "copy image" then opening up an art program and pasting the image in there to save it as a png or jpeg. I find that to be the least number of steps required to get a usual image file.

It is true that how work is framed is important but that's more in regards to educational material or propaganda than it is pornography. Its like how a Looney Tunes making you feel something through its comedy doesn't mean Bugs bunny is a good biological model for the behavior/diet of a real rabbit.
There are other feelings arts can convey than making you feel horny though. Like I don't know if that's the point they're trying to make because making you feel stuff=/=will motivate you to do anything in particular.

That said if someone was like "hey your art is making smoking look cool" I would think about if that accusation has merit and not just instantly assume the person couldn't tell fiction from reality. That's a strawman argument folks gotta stop making lol
Yeah funny enough I thought about that very thing. Like I have characters that smoke like Iris for example but I think smoking in real life is gross and can definitely hurt people. So yeah definitely not advocating people pick up that habit NOR am I advocating for banning depictions of it.
The only problem I had with a take I saw was the person calling anyone that makes artwork in a clearly fictional setting a term that's pretty much only used as a way of accusation people of real like crimes (e.g.: pedophile, zoophile).
That's a very inflammatory thing to do justifying caused upset.
:/ Yeah I actually to some degree called this out yesterday too. Ya know punching laterally at queer artists that aren't saying anything all too controversial but if you squint real hard and ignore the context in which the statement was said it COULD be read as agreeing with paypros censorship.
