Attended the annual Winter Satellite Workshop last week. Got to chair the ”AI for earth observation” session, with great presentations ranging from disaster relief to agricultural monitoring.
Also presented some results on mapping peatland habitats in the SuoKauko project!

Presenting a conference paper
Last week I attended #EUSIPCO24 in Lyon, presenting in the ”Signal analysis for biodiversity” special session. Our work on DNA-guided OOD detection here: arxiv.org/abs/2406.18999. Learned a lot and met great people!
