im doing good work
i had a chance to play an early version of Annulet a while back and i really, really enjoyed it - cannot wait to see the full version!
even more enamored was my partner, who absolutely showed me to be the dunce that i am in our little demo. she's chomping to get that box it in her hands asap.
absolutely deserved W for one of the most exciting and talented and all round lovely lil' studios out there.
so glad that a truly one-of-a-kind game is finding its audience, and is able to grow in cool weird ways!!!
it's gorgeous and it's flippin' massive! working out how I feel about it
Intent to Kill's cover is C R I S P
Thats not the next review, but the one after that - and I need to smash out the rest of the Two Towers one A S A P ! ! !
Just one! Badgers, Rats, Moles, Woodland Alliance. It was pretty good!
I think Bomb Busters and Tembo are both great, challenging co-ops that ask for something a bit different with their puzzles
For raw "good game" it's Clocktower and Crokinole !
For something weird... The Presence is fascinating. Kind of an 'elevated' version of Betrayal?
I'll take a peek !
CROKINOLE IN PLAY
your reply has caused us to immediately play a game
crokinole forever. i adore showing it to people. it's the perfect game to have a beverage with. i will never get rid of my board.
also if your fingers hurt then maybe you're putting too much power on it? it's a gentle scoocher for me
make an elephant a nice WelshHouse
so good, every time
I feel like it's one I need to play again honestly - didn't really lock into it particularly hard! I do love those sloths. And I love doping !!!
Games! TEMBO: Survival on the Savanna; Bomb Busters; 3 Witches; Blood on the Clocktower; Nature; Ruins; 7 Wonders Duel; Cena; Crokinole; The Druids of Edora; Endeavor: Deep Sea; Hearts and Minds; Inis; Moytura; Parrotdigm; The Presence; Root; Slay the Spire: The Board Game; Speakeasy; Spokes; Steam Power; Stone Age; Tenby; Too Sloth To Win; Whispering Woods.
OH YEAH ITS FEBRUARY GAMES. THE GAMES WHAT I PLAYED THAT MONTH
play with pals
more broadly - try all the heroes and be bad. i think i like the game so much because it's a unique mix of mega competitive and funny as hell. it's so sharp and the highs are so high, but losing in daft ways is fine if you're laughing.
lane aggressively, play around your item/skill spikes, look for opportunities as soon as cooldowns tick down.
always generate value, leave lanes healthy, take objectives, steal their jungle, use the jump pads when routing, take urns (especially if favoured), itemise around enemy comp.
it's goated
we played 5 hours of deadlock
so called free thinkers when mmmm delicious pancakes mmm
the frying pan my goat. huge enabler.
ive had such a small sliver of perfect wins and they all happened before getting to like, day 13 - where a Pygmalien turns you into mud instantly.
i'd love to write something severe and academic that contains the words "this, of course, is sick as fuck"
all timer
HELL YEA GAMER ALWAYS REPPIN' MY BOY T.C !!!
the "who is winning" Vs "what is happening" situation once again. it all comes back to this.
this is next on the list!
agree with your guess !!!
every one of my teams has a stud-chud dynamic. I have a star player, two other fellas, and then the worst cat imaginable. please perish before I return home so I never have to deal with your cursed offspring.
been reading some board game book recently. im an enjoyer and it's expanded my yap capacity re; cardboard. but i think it's really interesting how the majority of table games writing is science paper coded when my personal engagement with games is literature paper coded.
