The Eastern Tiger Swallowtail visits Casa de Rosado for nectar from wild plum, milkweed, and thistle. This butterfly inspired my animated art for my 32-ft Xochitlo Cunoco mural, funded by the Arts Council of Greater Lansing. The installation is set for Sept. 2025- watch for summer walking tours!
Mon May 5/25, at MI State Capitol Casa de Rosado & the Lansing School District Indigenous Youth Assoc participates in the Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women rally 11-3pm to raise awareness of the staggering murder rate. Join us in solidarity as we advocate for justice for all indigenous women.

The axolotl is an endangered variety of aquatic salamander endemic to the chinampas, the native gardens of Mexico. A symbol of native identity, Axolotls are named after the Aztec twin deity of maize, agave and water, Xolotl & the underworld version of the feathered serpent deity Quetzalcoatl.
