Does womenβs health need sex-specific algorithms? In a paper just out in Big Data & Society (bigdatasoc.bsky.social) we at the GenderSci Lab warn against the growing use of so-called βpinkβ and βblueβ algorithms, arguing that they risk embedding biological sex essentialist assumptions into medicine.
