Everything looks normal to me!
Holy shit, 6 months?! HAHAHAHAHAHA!
Hah, what a dipshit ๐
How I arrived on BlueSky:
Twitter was increasingly becoming a fashy place and I was looking for a way to jump to a better site, but bsky was in the early stages of invite-only and @realironhand.bsky.social reached out to offer an invite, so here I am! Devs are f'ing weird but the people are cool :)
art & nationality, sure, why not?
OK! That JCO quote...
If someone is rotten and does huge harm to the world, singling out (no matter the eloquence/humour) their looks is a choice to frame that element of them as a mockable quality, and you're showing what you think of that quality. Not that person, that quality.
Fatphobia sucks :)
๐QRP with your skull art ๐

To be fair, 'skull art' is a large chunk of my artistic output...
It's a hot and sweet/sour tomato/onion curry where the sourness is coming mostly from tamarind.
I definitely recommend people check out dhansak as well, if pathia is interesting - dhansak is a milder sweet/sour lentil dish.
I will note, my experience of these is from British Indian restaurants.
A red, hot and sour pathia curry sits beside basmati rice. On top of the curry, chopped cilantro.
Bit low on supplies at the end of the week, but I could whip up a nice veggie pathia-ish ๐
No recipe this time, just listening to my gut and making an ungodly number of substitutions, but it came good!
Train those reflexes so it's automatic when the time comes ๐
The 2nd best time is now ๐
Well done! It's lovely to see a moment of things moving in a positive direction.
Thank you ๐
I think they do successfully convey who these archetypes are, so I'm happy with that!
Oh yeah, man's work was off the chain and a big part of how I saw Warhammer & 40k when I was getting introduced to the worlds.
I try to not just make non-humans look like humans with a stretch or squash on them, for sure.
And yes! It's a very gentle nod towards the old Ghazak Khan and Oglah Khan Wolfboyz models, who had some facial hair, but done less obviously.
A Dwarf Lorekeeper, quill in hand, scroll in the other. She's something of a unit.
A wicked looking Hobgoblin grins evilly as he rests his foot on an Empire soldier's helmet.
It is *super* fun to me to try to find the personality in each of the characters I illustrate - here, a Dwarf Lorekeeper and a Hobgoblin, both from Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay.
Side musing - I think teeth are often underused as an identifying characteristic in non-monster types.
Oh I meant it in a very positive way!
One of my anti-AI arguments is that the journey really *really* is the point ๐จ
The joy of the fuckin' journey, right!?
๐
I mean the drawings are obviously skilled, but I *really* like the angles and compositions.
Lovely work, Dรกniel!
Always good to keep on training! Cheers, Lys! ๐

I want to start a conspiracy theory that the 1 is actually a landmass, which sometimes shifts into a 2.

QRP with your sketch vs final!
I want every reader to feel harshly judged when they see him on the page ๐
Sketch/linework for the Dark Elf Male.
The sketch for the Dark Elf Male.
Do you dig the sketches? Is it something people enjoy, or not so much?
I like to see other people's, so I figure sometimes people might like to see something of my process ๐
Anna! ๐
Thank you, that means a lot ๐
A male Dark Elf, sneering at you. He hates you, you see. Thinks you're nothing. Thinks he's wiped better things off his boot heel.
HOT FRESH NEW ART! More from Temple of Spite for Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, and my word do I love depicting the sneering condescension of these Dark Elves ๐
