My shipyard is considered one of the safest in the world... largely because they harass people for reporting injuries so anything you can walk off, you do.
So that's terrifying how bad other places must be.
Loooong time ago. Mid 06 during my 3rd stint in the shipyard. My head lit on fire while doing steel work. An hour later when I was done, me and two others got electrocuted cause the dumbass welder didn't attach a ground to his rig.
I was already on layoff notice so never reported it.
Electrocuted and set on fire in the same day.
I read Translation State, which is standalone in the same universe which made me go out and find a copy again to get back into it.
