Set in profile, the pretty face of a woman devolves into an abstraction of patterns that stretch far past the natural end of her head suggesting an ornate headdress while simultaneously seeming quite organic to her as if she were made of chaos. She holds a hand delicately to her chest but the tips of her fingers suggest claws and the skin from the back of her hand down her arm isn’t smooth but more grotesque in texture. The cloth covering her is white and ethereal.

Took SO to ER, while on the way, was called and told my Mom was in an accident.
SO has the Flu. Mom is okay. Yesterday was a crappy day. Cant see my mom for fear of transferring flu.
Cant hang with SO due to flu, so mainly just hang out with the nephews & their pop.
All around, great weekend.
Unearthed this Andalite concept (based on the book series “Animorphs”) from back in 2022, it’s very clunky but you can see how the ideas evolved into the newest iterations!

In the heat of the harsh desert—expressed through the yellows of a warm palette—a man and woman take refuge as a pair of dragons with wings flared claw and snarl at each other. The Dragon Prince extends one arm against rust colored rock for support. While his features are chiseled and his expression stoic, the set of his eyes reflect thoughts turned inward. His free hand grips his sword held low as the princess, with eyes pressed shut, leans close in a moment of vulnerability as they've just escaped from a harrowing experience.
