The DS1 has the same tone circuit and imo that pedal is unusable with the tone past 10-11oclock.
Anyway here is what the tone circuit on a Big Muff Pi does to the frequency response. You can roll off the lows or roll off the highs but either way, it's scooped around 1kHz.
