My old Zappi is just set in fast mode (which makes it a dumb charger) and I control the car. I can't remember what EV you're driving but can you control that instead of the Zappi. Several people I know who control their charger instead of their car has a shit time with it... Not just Zappi either.

The Tesla Gateway does support 3-phase but not for backup as there's no way to bridge the batteries together, they're not all running in phase when the power drops so it's probably not as simple as having load switches to connect them all together.

Yes the problem isn't that he's been spending too much time doing government stuff, it's what he's been doing both before the election and as part of that government has made people realise what an utter toxic cunt he is, and that is what is hurting Tesla, not his lack of focus on it.
