Do you you think there's a sort of... content creation apocalypse coming? Like this sort of thing:
1) People have limited eyeball time. You can increase it marginally, but certainly not an order of magnitude above what it is now (people have to sleep!)
2) Media creation has gotten ever easier
I knew a guy who played pickup hoops with Tony Romo when he was at Eastern Illinois. He said Romo dropped into a serious game with a bunch of guys who had all been good high school players and totally dominated them without even trying that hard. Not even his main sport! Pro athletes aren't human.
This is something I appreciate about foreign films and TV. Most of the actors look like regular people.
