Your Party has leadership?

Prestonism absolutely deserves a mention. They’re doing interesting things.

If I were Ed Miliband and gas prices open very strongly tomorrow morning (likely they will) then I would get a proper media blitz going. The line of protecting the economy from foreign energy conflicts works really well during foreign energy conflicts.

In terms of the ear thing, you’d be amazed at how quickly they heal. Huge blood flow in that area.

I’ve seen the top half of an ear all but severed - looked like someone had had a go at cutting up a slice of bacon then decided they were full - and you wouldn’t know now unless you were up close.

No problem Alex; I understand (and largely agree with) your position on this and much else.

As a Green, I’m pretty upset by Starmer’s response to Hannah’s win, referring to her as divisive and using words like β€˜sectarian’.

Any chance he might give his views on Goodwin..?

Thing is though Alex, Starmer does have form. What about the β€œincalculable damage” that he said migration figures had caused?

He doesn’t play fast and loose with language. He deserves much of the flak he’s getting on this.

Good point.

In an area that heavily trafficked, I can’t see either being suitable.

(I should add, other than on certain sports pitches I don’t see astroturf as ever a suitable solution.)

In fairness, all that tarmac will at least make it a bit easy to convert into a LIDL.

Not sure I’d pass for someone with the necessary funds, but I’d love to.

You just know it’ll have cheap uPVC windows, thin walls etc. Not a penny wasted on the actual fabric.

Seriously, who designed this.

Own up.

This is not far from me (just north of Newcastle).

I genuinely want to know who designed this and what they do / take to sleep at night.

I’m told that some international academic conferences are really struggling to fill seats.

Doesn’t seem to be being noted overly widely, but today is Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s birthday.

That’s either terrible luck for him, or some pretty incredible trolling by the local police.

I strikes me that instead of building energy hungry data centres for AI, we could be building local factories to produce straw panels and actually help solve the climate crisis

Can confirm that this book is absolutely worth the full price, let alone with the discount.

You’re going to have to explain β€˜breadcrumbing’. Sounds like something I’d feel wary searching for in Urban Dictionary 😬
