Hi, I'm a bad actor looking to compromise people's phones for my own financial gain while minimizing legal risks by modifying USB-C ports in public places. I have chosen to sabotage an aircraft
fuck, now I want an omlette bar.

I could not be more stoked to announce CONTINUE, a defiant, new games magazine that aims to celebrate and interrogate the culture, creativity and community of videogames. The Kickstarter is now live below. www.kickstarter.com/projects/con...
"We want to focus on Australian games and Australian developers and while our first issue focuses on our home, games are global — we'll be chasing stories from across the planet."
We're so excited to see this, great job pals @jacksonwryan.com and @serrels.bsky.social! 👏
societies typically talk about human cognition as working similarly to whatever is seen as the latest and greatest technology. that’s why we currently describe the brain as a roguelike deckbuilding game about characters making their way up a spire
Goodnight, CapitalismSky. Tomorrow we wake up and continue our valiant service towards mankind whether they understand it or not, like a cat needing their arthritis pill.
i am glad to hear that bluesky is listening to me and i look forward to my seat on the board
weird we didn't send forces to stop civilian deaths in Gaza. Oh well, better not think about why some civilians get special protection of the state and some don't.
I want to reassure my followers that even though Bluesky has a new CEO, I still remain 100% committed to my mission of making your experience of using this website as unpleasant as possible
cosigned: my hands also hurt
Hey @marathonthegame.bungie.net ! Can we have Destiny style autofire settings? Signed, the guy who pushed for them in Destiny because his hands hurt.
Yeah, they weren't going to support ARM-based Windows
it's kinda paradoxical though because the moment you start "dumbing things down" you make it harder to truly understand. how do you simplify something without making it less powerful, or more opaque?
https://bsky.app/profile/why.bsky.team/post/3mgaqaaisfs2e Why @why.bsky.team Oh interesting, people who don't know how to build software are getting mad at my post about building software. Cute. Let me be clear, over the next year, the job of software engineer will shift dramatically to no longer have typing syntax into an editor as its primary time sink.
In my entire 15 year career in software development, “typing syntax into an editor” has never been the primary time sink.
Most of the time was spent on understanding what the software was actually supposed to do and to resolve conflicting requirements.
I really hate the idea of having to gatekeep open source projects, approving contributors one on one, after they prove their humanity and still needing to do regular auditing of code and account behavior.
And yet.
I have been for some weeks now collecting instances of Bluesky staff admitting/bragging about their use of LLM slopcode in the product and I am, by now, very *very* uncomfortable with this company's code (the PDS, which I've been self-hosting since I joined) running on a computer I control.
The road to dehydration is paved with cups of water left sitting all over the house
Average Bluesky staff meeting
#Marathon and #Destiny2 better come to Linux so I can get off Windows
A composed image has been made from multiple pieces to riff on the official marketing assets look from the game Marathon. In this version, all the logo and sci-fi looking sidebars and game name are presented over an image from the game trailer of a runner shell pinning another to the ground as she's about to knife him. This is shown as shadows against the wall rather than directly. Imposed on these official-looking assets is the user-added caption (in appropriate fonts and layout) "Ammo is limited. Knifing guys is free."

In Swedish, "blast" is what we call the tops/greens of root vegetables
Australians who need care because of age or disability shouldn’t be reduced to an algorithm, writes Georgia van Toorn. But it’s already happening and the harms are difficult to calculate: loss of access, loss of care, loss of QoL, loss of life www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...
AO3 is down so i can't submit my yaoi about two database engineers who fall in love while dealing with a website crisis
