Raja's claim to fame is he's a prolific fundraiser. He supports & is supported by Modi, a dictator. He's been smarmy in his messaging implying he is for Abolish ICE when really just promising to roll back Trump's increases. He's not in any way a fighter for the people, let alone against fascism.

Alex is a hero. I don't care about demographics. That man protected people in need at the very cost of his life and safety. He should still be alive today, but this is a wicked time and place.
The way that we honor his life is to demand that ICE be abolished. Not more money. Not reform. Abolition.
Pretti clearly did not brandish his gun. Which means the government is saying he was killed for legally exercising his right to carry.
It’s as clear-cut a violation of the Second Amendment as I can possibly imagine. And we’re about to see the bulk of the gun rights crowd defend his murder.

You could actually structure your moral code around the idea that law enforcement doesn't exist to execute people. You don't have to create perfect victim narratives, you can just refuse to accept that the state gets to kill people.

This is Minneapolis:
Walk into my neighborhood ACE last night & see the signage on their door notifying fed agents that it’s private property and cannot be used for immigration enforcement. These signs are all over the city.
Walk in & the nearest shelf has goggles & whistles.
Today at 34 & Park in Minneapolis, a woman tried to drive down the street where a protest had broken out in front of a home ICE was raiding, saying she had a doctor apt to get to. ICE agents busted out her windows, cut off her seatbelt, and pulled her out before arresting her.
