Im always really curious who the ahegao demographic is. Like who are the people really getting off on that goofy as heck face, especially when irl people do it lol.

The writers' room: "Okay now imagine they have these tummy buttons that when pressed against big muscle men give them a womb so they can carry the alien young around."
Stargate SG-1 was definetly the product of someones MPREG fan fiction.
Every conversation among the Goauld in Stargate sg-1 is really funny when you remember its just a bunch of little foot long worms yelling at eachother
I am so happy you are doing these again for rhe new game! This will always be one of my favorite Leon memes
The Reaident Evil franchise is really like "i love all my characters equally," standing in front of a giant poster of Leon Kennedy, who has been in the most games of anyone as a playable character.
Never forget the true villain of any rpg should be capitalism and the elites
God my fucking typos are brutal
Also CR4 is my first time watching from the start of the campaign in art because I live BLM
At the end of the day I accept a degree of people having fun with their friends so I dont try to be too critical (role) i just feel like Vaelus is such a good pirch of a character that it is dissaointing seeing her underutilized to me.
I never watched CR1 only the cartoon (which i enjoy) so i won't opine about that, CR2 yasha was barely a character in the story because of her work, so I kind of hardware that. So so fsr Ferne is my only point of reference really lol
I never cared for CR3 and I have only begun watching it since its abridged while I work but Ferne is actually one of the characters I like the most in that party, klepto murder Disney princess is fun. I just am very lukewarm about most of the CR3 characters.
But yeah even while I didn't walk in fully invested in some of the Soldiers characters, over the course of the arc I learned to love them all more/ I just didn't feel that same way with the Seekers arc.
Like I feel that she didnt realize the full ramifications of her concept and how that should effect how she interacts with the world and its people. It just makes her very forgettable in most conversations.
The biggest missed opportunity I think is Vaelus, she is an amazing design and cool concept but i feel like Ashley hasn't really figured out how to rp her. She often times just feels like a generic person instead of this bitter veteran who is the only person who thinks the gods were good here.
I think yapping is fine, and if the yapping is between characters I think it would be better, but this did give off more of make a roll get a lore dump each session that wasn't very compelling. I also have some issues with some of the character dynamics.
Now that I have finished the CR4 Seekers arc I gotta say it had a lot of interesting lore but was not as enthralling as the Soldier's arc. I would give it an overall "it was fine" out of 10.
I care about Space always :)
Man, I couldnt get past the first like 30 minutes of Draw Your Weapons on Beacon. It was impressive how much I hated the format, commentary, and characters people made. I would not recommend it.
Thank you for bringing this to my attention it was very interesting!
As a trans femme bimbo enthusiast, this is a neat little essay about it. It is pretty accurate on many of the reasons and very succinct.
For anyone watching Nexus: Forlorn Legacy, my dnd campaign, I have started drawing the loveable orc urban fey warlock crime boss, Lazlo Kovacs!
I had a sudden burst of inspiration and I finally figured out the card game I was looking for a few weeks ago!!! It was called Chron X!!! A ye old cyberpunk tcg
Yeah part of it is how daunting many of my backlog games are with open world rpgs etc
Its why I have like 1200 hours of hearts of iron 4. So easy to kill time and lose yourself
Me with tons of rpgs in my backlog just being like: maybe I should reinstall WoW as a go to kill time game again...
Giving your players a lot of allies can bog down combat a lot. Instead try my pro strat:
Represent each ally with a thematically appropriate special ability or buff you players can use instead.
For ex. If the ally is a Rogue, let the players do a sneak attack once a turn without the finesse req.
Watching the Viva La Dirt League Daggerheart game and
1) Beast Feast is the absolute worst frame for first time playing the system
2) half the players do not seem to care about the frame mechanics at all
3) beast feast is not very entertaining to watch
Thankfully, they are only half hour episodes
Hear me out, Predator movie except its Leon Kennedy vs the Predator
It is a beautiful show that makes you cry almost every episode
