The Supreme Court ruled corporations were allowed to donate unlimited amounts to politicians in 2010.

I couldn’t have imagined where Medusa might travel when I started writing about her in grad school, but I’m thrilled to see her in so many places, especially in a year when so many survivors, like the incredibly brave Gisele Pelicot, have spoken out against sexual violence. May that trend continue.

Four years ago today, I got one of the best emails of my life: Freddy from VA Press wanted to publish my debut poetry collection, Head of a Gorgon.
This week, I got word that a streaming show my book is mentioned in, Deep End, is available worldwide!

Library purchases are purchases. They pay the press. The press counts them towards advances and royalties. And (gasp) the book is in a library!! It’s wonderful and no one should ever feel bad about getting a book through a library instead of buying it.
Love it when bookshops or libraries arrange their books appropriately...
