I agree entirely, it really gets a bad rap for one of the foundational emotions. It can be so incredibly nuanced but everyone just boils it down to "character angy, therefore no think and only do bad." cold and calculated anger turned into action is so under rated. shit its what drives a lot of us.
Photo taken standing on lower part of fairly old redwood tree where the burls and roots make it fairly easy to - carefully - climb up on. Lots of moss on lower trunk, rough bark. First branching is incredibly high up there, looking like a ball of green at very top of tree. These trees can get to be 2000 years old if let be. As priceless a treasure as any artifact in any museum, imho.
While inland redwoods, Giant Sequoia (Sequoiadendron giganteum) are the most massive trees on the planet, Coastal Redwoods (Sequoia sempervirens) are the tallest!
Up to 380' (115m) or more.
Hard to fathom, even when standing right next to one.
