Pretty compelling piece overall on who might be best positioned to finally bring the Democratic Party's leadership closer to its own base on Israel-Palestine. I don't necessarily agree with the conclusion but I think it demonstrates a serious thinking we need in the lead-up to 2028.
I spoke with two ICE watchers who lost their Global Entry after brushes with federal agents. Now an internal memo shows Customs and Border Protection is evaluating cases where people's Global Entry could be revoked based on "encounters" with its officers.

The canvas() function from the ggview R package is very useful for previewing/tweaking a ggplot into publication-ready format: it renders a plot "as it would appear if saved to a file with the specified dimensions".

Then they compared their results to a traditional meta-analysis and MetaLab's community-augmented meta-analysis (langcog.github.io/metalab/), finding that the replications had much more homogeneous effect sizes and different moderators. (sorry, all of these slides are really exciting)
