3 games, 3 wins, and 10 bingos. Only 8 of us showed up to club due to bad weather so I had easier opponents than normal. Still notched a 675 tonight, with a shameful turn where I played 2 phonies (JAKED and DEICISM). This after reading @stefanfatsis.bsky.social ‘s newsletter is extra shameful. 😹

I heard honey crisps were more expensive because they take twice as long to grow. It’s like they have to turbo grow everything these days, turning delicious tart apples into mid apples that taste like a wet dishrag because it ripened so quickly.

Scored well but just 1-2 tonight. I lost to Matt because I failed to find STAGnAT(E). Lost to Deen probably because we played NWL. Game 3 was high scoring. Got away with a very sus TORINO* (just ZORINO) in the game 3 endgame. 7 bingos: LONGERS RODENTS ENDORSER METRING BRINGERS PREMIES DRAYING.

So I worked on the creator of R&S’s “Ripping Friends” and I was a huge fan of R&S as a kid. I guess I have that drawing style built in. I don’t know if you know, but he did horrible things and was awful to work with. Glad you like this sketch, but I’d like to not be reminded of that guy. :-(
