And although it works as expected I still think putting "all the eggs in one basket" is a bad adea.

1 different app for 2fa tokens/passkeys
ssh/gpg keys managed separately

Agreed I love trying new distros(my latest favourite PikaOS).
But I am getting to the point I know what DE, settings I want/need and I just want to get io with my day.

And nixos seems to enable that plus the ability to try news things with ease of reverting back to previous settings

So nixos has officially killed distrohopping for me.

I am trying Debian 13 on my laptop and although I have bootstrap-scripts to set things up.

But It still feels like a step backwards.
