I mean, those two games specifically do not interest me personally, nor any of the so far released Playstation catalogue on PC. Though I agree that having options is never a bad thing.

Oh no! We're gonna miss on Ghost of Yotei! How bad!
So this place has Bandcamp embedding now huh?

Age verification?
I have seen and operated a black and white TV.
A friend's brother who was into Skyrim when it came out, for example, nowdays just plays whatever is the "new hot" release. I have never seen him emulating and he thinks it's too much work. He's around 20 if my memory serves right.
That is honestly awesome to see. And I truly hope more people are like you guys.
I dunno, most of the time, the signs point out that most (young) people are not like this though.
I mean, think about it. For starters, why would a young person (below 18 years old) emulate a game they know nothing about and didn't grow up with (game or system)? So I guess they are less likely to be inclined to indulge.
"Was canceling the God of War Live Service project the right decision?"
A billion percent yes.
*faint Kinect noises in the distance*
Not accurate, Luigi should have transformed into Bowser.
I don't wanna go back to testing two hours with every single graphics renderer to see what works or performs better man....you had to dabble SO MUCH, and each game had it's own stint.
Yeah, it's kind of unintuitive, even for me. But it's a trade-off for having everything in one place and very much self-contained. You can do almost everything inside the app.
This is honestly scaring me. I mean, how come I was able to find my way playing Heartgold on No$gba in 2010 at the age of 15, or getting a Japanese copy of White and patching it every so often in English, but kids today can't into EXTREMELY user-friendly emulators with tons of guides?
And here's one for Leaf Green in case anyone's wondering
Couldn't have asked for a better way to block unwanted accounts so efficiently. Thank you Nintendo!
As infuriating as this all is, at the very least it's an awesome tool for revealing the true natures of people. Perfect for blocking/muting purposes π
"Oh the prices are fine!" heeere you go
"You are mad to just be mad" right this waaay
On one hand, you have the expensiveness of third-party re-sellers....On the other hand you have the not-expensiveness of the free internet. Then Glorious Nintendo comes and saves us all with this Gloriousβ’ release. Gee, I wonder what I should choose?
That's what's getting me riled up, the fact that they are DEFENDING it. It just sets up a bad precedent for retro game pricing. It's nasty. And I know, I won't buy it, but the suckers who do will enforce this ideal, and thus will give Nintendo more than enough evidence that they can do that more.
What is crazier, the price, or the fact people will unquestionably buy it and defend the price?
Good news everyone!
Yeah, like AI, right? It certainly need illogical amounts of money to go anywhere, right? π
Moves like these are what's making people pirate instead of supporting the companies. I would gladly pay for this if it was like 7-8$ MAX, but this is getting out of hand.
Battleborn Digital Deluxe
Introduce yourself with 4 (four) video games!
Right?? And quite deservingly so! The game is basically a PS5 showcase demo turned to feature length game
It's 100% on the games. Like it or not, exclusivity is what made all prior consoles memorable and relevant. When you talk about Shenmue, you think about Dreamcast, and vice-versa. Same deal.
These day they are more centered on the "look" rather than the "feel".
How they nailed that sense of speed all these years ago still amazes me....That and how some of them had close to realistic car engine sounds (Most Wanted & Carbon come to mind), while today we have autotuned stone age modem noises.
