I think we have lost the future generations, who do not seem to like reading at all. We'll go back to times when reading was something that very few did.
Back in the day you could buy some cheap lowbrow reading from every supermarket. It wasn't world class literature by any means but it was still entertainment for those who wouldn't read otherwise. Now, those people don't read at all, because to buy a book of any kind you'd have to go to a bookshop.

The Mutant Zero engine works just fine. It is not something that makes me thrilled, but it is simple. We decided to play the theatre of mind style, instead of the way the game was actually designed to be played, meaning with maps and tokens.
Ran my first session of Fria Ligans Twilight: 2000 for one. We made the character and I though why not to give the game a try, too. I have been following an excellent actual play, which helped me a lot. Still, had to check and recheck the rules constantly.

As I've noted before (but is worth noting again!), I have it as a contract point that cover art has to be done by humans. One, because it solves many issues involving copyright and licensing and assures a unique cover. Two, PAY ACTUAL HUMANS FOR ACTUAL HUMAN ART, it's really just that simple.
