Google started sending me Gemini emails. This is at the bottom of them and I definitely don't remember signing up for Gemini. It's the last thing I'd do.

Fucking worse than Slop at least slop has some value.

Hasn't this been the elephant in the room for years. That employment trends showed Millennials and Zoomers would basically be nursing home staff for Boomers and Gen X?

There is no defending any of this assault on Iran. But this goes beyond even that. There aren't words to properly describe the evil involved here

Cause "finance guys" are all suckers who think they won't fall for the con.

Well the ones who are left. Mostly it's just poorly programed algorithms trading at this point.

remember when the IRS put out a a free online tax filing system where you could just do your taxes through the IRS and it was actually well made and was pretty well recieved and then the tax filing industry and Republicans killed it and now you have to use TurboTax again

Those "I" countries are difficult, "Iran" and "Israel" are so close it's easy to understand how he got confused.

The Flower Show has effectively suspended the quiet car on my evening commute. Just so many loud conversations for the entire 40 minutes.

Let's all welcome New Jersey to the 21st Century.

Florida toll authorities have had sticker transponders for decades. Next thing they'll be allowed to pump their own has.

My anger is at the fascists.

My frustration is with the incompetent opposition party that refuses to learn from the past or even pretend to respect the locals doing hard work and showing how to win.

Part of the Floridafication of national politics is the Democratic Party's insistence on chasing voters who will never support them.

You understand that the rotation, axial tilt and orbit of the Earth determines length of daylight, right?

In the Northern Hemisphere we naturally get more daylight in summer and less in winter.

The clocks don't control that.

08.03.2026 13:58 ๐Ÿ‘ 0 ๐Ÿ” 0 ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1 ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

The clock change just speeds up the transition. Even without the clock change the days get longer in the summer and shorter in the winter.

DST in winter is objectively more dangerous due to increased road miles during the dark while people are still waking up.

DST is unhealthy and dangerous.

It worked in 2016. By 2024 the technology and techniques were far more advanced.

It's really frustrating that the fascist playbook was on full display in Texas and Florida over the past couple of decades. But the Mid-Atlantic Dems don't see FL or TX as real places so they didn't learn a damn thing.

How 2020. DHL's "fuck it we don't even know where your package is" system is much more a la mode.

People don't understand that daylight gets longer in the spring. They attribute more sunlight after work to the clock change rather than the natural occurrence.

I'm not joking. People legit don't grasp that daylight slowly increases in length starting in Dec. and March is when it's noticeable

Let's be clear: the U.S. had a deal that could have prevented Iran from getting a nuclear weapon.

Trump ripped up that deal.

Then he started a war instead of doing the hard work of diplomacy to stop Iran from getting a nuclear weapon.

That's the trick for how man have to deal with Boomers, give them "the bartender's flirting with me" energy.

literally dismantling our international security umbrella so Israel can make the broader middle east into a parking lot for its settler strip malls. Incredible stuff.

Every time Gemini tells me to flatten my language I intentionally make it more complex out of spite.
