It’s not tenderqueer, white, or abusive bullshit to use therapy/social justice language. All of the above just happen to have access to that language to misuse.

I just don’t think it’s good to say it’s a red flag when I hear someone use the words “boundaries” and “gaslighting,” which I have heard a lot of people say that in recent memory. That language is important to describe a lot of people’s experiences and have very real meaning.

I have a very hard time with people being reactive towards “therapy speak” or “social justice speak” whenever someone uses it to be abusive or nasty. Language gets co-opted AND abusive people will use all the tools at their disposal that doesn’t mean the language is the problem
