I mean has anyone made the BitchX joke yet?

3 circles hung on a wall, very thin multicolored 3d printed cylinders without a top layer so the lightning-style infill is exposed
Same but a wider view in context of my office
I don't think I ever posted this: I had a blank section of wall so I made some infill decor entirely in bambu slicer
I've been seeing you posting about this project, but I only just now realized the extent of what it is. this is awesome!
๐ I've bumped github.com/facet-rs/facet from "highly experimental" to just "experimental" โ it has a pretty well-designed set of types, the derive macro is quite capable already, the JSON read+write crates are iterative (!!), go play with it!

I want to make a peanut butter casserole

damnit FANE not thane
Having trouble deciding between trying to date vs digging a hole and building an underground thane to my dark lord, the slithering devourer of Our world
add my damn cat to this diagram. I had to chase him all around the house when he stole my hot dog bun and left the hot dog

Rust has *two* cutting edge terminal emulators (alacritty and wezterm) but unfortunately neither of their VT implementations are usable as libraries. Gnome VTE it is ๐ฉ
The reason I looked it up is that I was trying to remember #2:
Functions delay binding; data structures induce binding. Moral: Structure data late in the programming process.
Also love 11, 19, 31, 34 are also favorites
spending my morning re-reading Perlis's Epigrams. Last time I read these was over 15 years ago probably www.cs.yale.edu/homes/perlis...
instructions unclear, getting panics in production: called `Option::unwrap()` on a `None` value
gotta get to the grocery store and take advantage of those March 15th pie sales
Just saw Mickey 17. Robert Pattinson is so good at playing weird little guys. Kinda reminded me of his role in Rover
this goes so hard. I'm so bitter compared to my youthful days of hanging out in IRC 24/7 but I just can't bring myself to do it again.
This looks awesome. I just ordered one, because I am MISERABLE during on-call weeks when I need to have my phone next to my bed and I end up scrolling
no, please break this PR up into 3 smaller ones now
There's an idea I've had for a software app that I've wanted to do for... uh... 15 years? It involves embedding terminal emulators as widgets inside of a larger GUI app. Anyone have opinions on the best tech stack to prototype that? I would love to use Rust but Python or Typescript might be better
Debian has been doing this for 30 years. This *is* old-fashioned.
I've had twitchy eyes for the past week, and I just realized it's because the book that I've been reading every night in bed is really dusty and irritating my eyes ๐ฉ
fortunately I'm almost done with it
I saw my first stink bug
I went to Emilichka in Bloomfield today to pick up a few house plants. That place is legit: the kind of place where each plant comes with a tag that includes the horticultural info. And the lady working there (I think the owner) was super nice and helpful and knew everything about the plants. A+
Ok, so this may sound weird, but I really wanted a beer and all I had in the fridge was one can of some super strong stout that has been in the fridge for months. So... I cut it with like a half cup of water and it's way more palatable. Now I feel like an old timey historic person drinking weak beer
wow... surely that's got to just be an introductory price, right?
just realized I'm the only one who calls it "vec deek" ๐ฉ
Yeah, I thought about k'nex, but I really don't like how flimsy the individual rods are. I think having more of a flat "bar" makes it a lot easier to build things that are much stronger. Right now I'm working with bars that are maybe a little bit wider/thicker than popsicle sticks.
