Renee Good's partner addresses Minneapolis immigration crackdown one month after killing
Becca Good has seldom spoken out since Renee Good was shot and killed by an ICE agent in Minneapolis on Jan. 7.
“Renee was not the first person killed, and she was not the last,” Becca Good said. “You know my wife’s name and you know Alex’s name, but there are many others in this city being harmed that you don’t know — their families are hurting just like mine, even if they don’t look like mine.”

There is A LOT of misinformation going around about the continued funding of ICE.
It ISN'T a done deal.
Yes, it passed in the House, but the Senate hasn't taken it up yet.
That's the way this shit works.
CONTACT YOUR SENATOR NOW AND TELL THEM TO VOTE THIS FUNDING DOWN.

An office building lit up in the dark with a crowd of people holding signs in front of it.
HAPPENING NOW: A massive crowd is gathered in freezing temperatures outside ICE headquarters in DC to demand ICE OUT OF ALL COMMUNITIES NOW.

No one deserves to be executed, which is exactly what ICE is doing to people.
No one deserves to be kidnapped and detained.
Deported without due process.
Sexually assaulted.
Denied accommodations and medical care.
Don’t fall into the “perfect victim” trap.
We all have rights or no one does.

Alex Pretti, Renee Good, and Keith Porter Jr. were murdered. Marimar Martinez was shot. Mahmoud Khalil was arrested and jailed.
The next could be you.
What’s at stake isn’t just our democracy. It’s also your safety and security and that of your loved ones.

It’s supposed to, but it doesn’t for all bodies, fyi. For some of us it increases heart rate and activates the sympathetic nervous system instead of parasympathetic, increasing fight-or-flight feelings.

Cardiologists seeing more cases of POTS since the start of the COVID-19 Pandemic
POTS is a condition that disrupts the body's ability to regulate blood flow while changing positions. Dr. Charles Hong says they have seen a sharp rise since COVID.
“Before COVID, I probably saw a few people on maybe a month basis, not more than 20 a year. I'm [now] seeing that almost on a daily basis, so the incidents have gone up tremendously.”
Spoiler Alert: We have nowhere near enough dysautonomia aware specialists to handle this influx in patients. /1

Kids keep getting sicker as evidence for COVID immune damage builds
As the press pushes "immunity debt" past the breaking point of believability, are parents ready to wake up to the illness crisis?
As kids get sicker, media ignores scientific papers pointing to immune damage after COVID. Instead, parents are urged to “watch out” for unusual waves of RSV, flu, pneumonia, & more, while masks, clean air and the pandemic are pointedly never mentioned.

Don’t forget about tomorrow’s Take Down Tesla protests happening across the country! Since we launched the Elon boycott, Tesla’s stock has plummeted from over $400 to $262. Let’s keep the momentum going!

Truth social post from Trump which reads All Federal Funding will STOP for any College, School, or University that allows illegal protests. Agitators will be imprisoned/or permanently sent back to the country from which they came. American students will be permanently expelled or, depending on on the crime, arrested. NO MASKS! Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Defunding schools who allow protests is some next level fascist garbage.
But please don’t miss the “No masks!” Line.
JD Vance instituted a federal ban on mask mandates. Many States and counties have banned masks with problematic & insufficient medical exemptions
If you want to resist? Mask up!

Visited my mom today. Her partner died a few days ago. He was a wonderful man, gone much too soon. We hung some of the paintings he owned in her living room, reminisced, cried, hugged a lot. Grieving is so hard. Glad I could be there for her though.

My PCP was the one who originally prescribed the Metoprolol, not even a specialist… not sure why your doc won’t try anything! That seems silly to me. Trial and error is so much of how we came to my current med combo that works pretty well! If something doesn’t work, try something else!

Metoprolol and Clondine are the main ones I’ve been on the past 4 years, along with at least 10 grams of salt & plenty of fluid with electrolytes. We’re actually about to try a different alpha blocker that my dysautonomia guy says is often better for autoimmune causes; Doxazocin. We’ll see!

Had to make that call with my last therapist. And my sister. It means losing people who were important to me, and not finding answers I need. But at a certain point, it’s the only option. 😢

I notice that defenders of ABA like to present this false dichotomy; like if not ABA, there’s no other possible way to address issues of safety, hygiene, etc., when actually there could be a world of possibilities, any number of ways to support individuals that don’t need to involve ABA.

I’ll remember all the random small talk info people tell me, but not know how to respond if I don’t know them well. Allegedly ppl like to be asked about themselves, but what is appropriate to ask? What is too personal in a small talk convo? When does it switch to regular talk? How do you know? Etc.
