I found a nicely matching PETG filament, 3D printed a joystick case with it and used arcade parts for it.
Jupiter Fracture aka Jupiter Lander II intro on my #C64U Founders Edition

π
Yes, it really came out perfect!
Itβs finally here now! So gorgeous! π₯°
My #C64U Founders Edition finally arrived, only 7 months (minus 2 days) after I ordered it. It looks so gorgeous! π₯°
Thanks, but it's not here yet. Still stuck at some DPD hub.
I ordered on the very first day, 12. July 2025, within the first 300 units.
"Dinkel" alone would have prevented me from buying that.
And I do eat oat & corn flakes daily for breakfast.
You have to create an account on commodore.net and then you can log in on the top right of the page.
Oh, my accessories (at least most of them) have just been delivered by DHL, sent from retro8BITshop. But my C64U is still stuck somewhere between Commodore, DPD and me.
Btw. when are the accessories expected to be shipped?
I ordered joysticks, cables and User Port adapters back in October.
Since yesterday my Founders Edition finally is on its way from the Commodore NL hub. I'm so excited... π
You can use a keyboard shortcut for the menu instead of pushing the rocker switch up: C= and Restore.
This now also works on the Ultimate 64 if you updated it to the 3.14a firmware.
I didn't upgrade my two Ultimate 64 Elite IIs, I added two Commodore 64 Ultimates, one Starlight Edition and one Founders Edition. π
The former did indeed arrive two days before Christmas, the latter has just today been sent off by the Commodore NL hub.
That's interesting news to me but reminds me that I had a nice talk with Jim Sachs at the World of Commodore in Frankfurt in 1992 where he presented the Brilliance paint program. He worked on the famous Amiga Lagoon picture there.

This is a rhetorical question, right? π
Oh, I had a similar but more basic one of these Philips electronics kits. The dual spring system for the connecting posts was genius but at the same time kid-friendly. π₯°
Will this be some Jupiter Lander on (a)steroids? π
Can we please have that great image that's on the C64Us screen? π₯°

Any C64 that has an 8-pin video connector should also carry chroma / luma on that.

I don't have any experience with Action Replay, so I can only show you that it starts and the menus work.
