A mixed media work consisting of a photo of two little Black girls, standing forehead to forehead, holding hands and giggling. The girls are both wearing long summer dresses. The girl on the left wears her natural hair loose, save for a small topknot at the top of her head. The girl on the right wears her hair in several long braids, which have been decorated with small gold bands. The dresses the girls wear and the gold bands on the girl with the braids' hair have been rendered in gold leaf and small jewels, similar to Gustav Klimt's gold works. In the background, a small wildflower meadow blooms.

Trust, everything from the kidnappings and illegal deportations to the hot mic threats targeting U.S. citizens, & the removal of people who are here legally simply for protesting human rights violations are part of a tactic to scare you into silence & submission.
Of course, Kilmar Abrego Garcia is being labeled a terrorist and criminal! This is what they do to justify their wrongdoings! They dehumanize and feed you lies to make injustice look like justice! Itβs straight from the white "supremacy" playbook, used to carry out terror WITH public approval!
Iβm not necessarily afraid of the idiots and the racists... theyβll always find a way to exist. What truly scares me are the people who let them decide what theyβre allowed to know.
The ones willing to let them take away their access to the whole truth

A mixed-media portrait of a little Black girl with natural hair. She is sitting at a 3/4 angle to the viewer, her facial expression neutral. Her hair pulled back slightly by a golden barrette that resembles a laurel branch, revealing the geometric pattern shaved into her undercut. She is wearing a gold robe encrusted with jewels.

I wish I could be shocked by Trumpβs insidious comments about denying Palestinians the right to return to their homes and the blatant attempt at a land grab. It's disgusting and expected
Meanwhile, those who are actually placed in positions through DEI and Affirmative Action in reality are overqualified, highly skilled, brilliant, holding multiple degrees (who would not have been hired in this racist ass country had affirmative action/DEI never been implemented).
Trump is a very sick
person leading an already sick nation, built on oppressive ideals, who, by his own logic, and his distorted understanding of DEl, holds his position (in the warped dimension where DEI means what HE says it means), despite being an unqualified, mediocre, and unhinged white male.
It takes a certain type of narcissism and psychopathy to desire a career & lifestyle devoted to upholding Power, Government & Authoritarianism
It screams being afraid (fear) & a lack of identity more than anything else
Thank you for sharing
