The U.S. war on Iran is now estimated to cost $1 billion per day. Meanwhile Americans are told there’s no money for healthcare, hospitals, or basic social programs.
Two things: 1.) It is unconscionable not to help stranded Americans get home. 2.) Nothing and no one is perfect, but in a time when so much of what I hear about government is concerning, crazy, or both, I really appreciate my governor and some other IL elected officials.
Only the weakest of people believe love is the weakest of weapons.

I'm begging my fellow politicians, Illinoisans, and Americans to realize that right now, we aren't fighting over policy or political party.
