Any relief printers out there mixing their ink with stuff like extenders or linseed oil?

I’m wanting to experiment so I’m curious.

I often get asked how I make the dot texture in my prints. I just use the tip of a knife to flick out dots.
This only works with materials like linoleum. Rubber won’t break so you will just end up with a cut.

Take the idea if you do markets! There’s always a few people that struggle understanding how things are printed. I used to have a video on loop showing my etching process.

Tried to make a little 3 layer hand stamp out of battleship gray linoleum. It’s way too hard to stamp. I think I need to use something softer?
