As ever, it's always a personal opinion. I have no problem with anyone liking something I don't care for.
@wiloverton
Sometimes drawer of the silly pictures. Ex of Rare and various other game devs. Helped make the UK's first anime magazine and games mags like Super Play and N64 in ye olden days. Now getting old and crumbly. https://linktr.ee/wiloverton

You guyz!
Is that what you take from that? I'm not sure who's the sicko, here π
I think it doesn't help to binge them so close together, definitely.
Quite possibly one of my favourite box arts.
I started a rewatch of the MCU recently only to discover that Iβm not that keen on a lot of them.
βIt reminded me of the quote that is often attributed to George Orwell that states βAll irregularities will be handled by the forces controlling each dimension. Transuranic heavy elements may not be used where there is lifeββ
True, but there arenβt that many are there?
Nope. Nintendo handhelds were region free up until the 3DS.
It's either that or an over 60s, white uk bloke Onlyfans.
I thought an afternoon tidying around in the garden might free up my brain enough to think of a great money-making idea that would take me up and into retirement but stupid brain just thought about games, comics and cartoons. Stupid brain.
When we left the house before where we are now I put a chair in front of the shell of a TV with a small twig figure hanging where the the screen was, up in the loft.
A photo of the top of a garden waste bin showing a number of ladybirds π
Itβs 1976 all over again.
For those too young to remember we had a really hot summer and a βplagueβ of the critters.
I'm watching these from the beginning and I'm still on the first b&w season where it's more spies and fictional baddie countries with nefarious plans for world domination than monster of the week.
How I arrived on Bluesky
New bit of scribbling for the lovely folks at Sega Mania. Don't ever ask me to draw something from Virtual On again π
I remember the Nuts guy really not giving a monkeys about playing it. We each had a spot in this barn with the game, TV, PC and a Zip disc (remember those?) to take any screen grabs home with us. I took so many I had to ask for another couple of discs. Good trip, though.
Well, about 20 or so, from all over Europe (us, official mag and Nuts(!) holding the flag for the UK). Had a day to play it in a βlivingβ medieval museum thing.
Yeah, about that...
My bit was really the 'we've played it but not enough to give it a score' pre-review (I drew the straw to go over to Germany for a couple of days). I can't remember who it was that insisted we put 'reviewed!' on the cover, though.
Worldy Bloke likes to keep that kind of thing on the down low just in case any number of other world-type characters come after him.
Ha! Jes has been dining out on that review for decades.
I love the idea of him telepathically telling the customising place not to forget the logo on the roof.
Thank you @mackeza.bsky.social for my little name check. Honoured to have been a tiny part of your Nintendo journey. The book's fab, by the way βΊοΈ
A picture of a liminal space 'backroom'. It's rather like the inside of an empty office if it had no windows. All yellowish with artificial lighting .
It's Tuesday morning, so of course I've got a video going through all the 'backrooms' videos on in the background. Expectations for the A24 movie are high and I urge all cinemas to redecorate that bit just outside the auditoriums appropriately.
Sigh π’ Didn't we used to be a nation of shopkeepers?
Absolutely. The only brief was to try and not do something you'd expect to see for the game.
Not often we get a UK cover that's, arguably, better than the Japanese one. Tiny Jpn Gamecube boxes win over the DVD case, though.
Yep, that was me. I think we did posters of each of the PD covers. Which one was it? Whatever it was, I am honoured to have been given a spot on your wall.
Absolutely! That is fantastic (and a great game, too).
Magazine cover showing a character from the game Zelda: Ocarina of Time. It's a postman, running with an opened envelope in his hand. He's wearing an odd bunny mask thing and a kind of sports onesie. Floating just above his head is a blue orb fairy with wings and on the ground is a a creature from the game that fires rocks at you from its snout.
The back cover of a magazine with characters from the game Zelda: Ocarina of Time. There are some chickens, too but don't let that put you off.
My one and only Edge cover (although I do consider just one pretty good going). These 20th anniversary covers are up on fleabay for pretty good money but despite the amount of sweets and comics I could get for that, this one is probably staying with me for the duration.
