Experimental philosophy

I recognize that this is item number 1371 that's fucked up about me, but I've been doing this since I was 12 or so.

Basically, when it feels like my chest is getting particularly heavy to breathe and I'm not coughing up much, I'll take a hot shower and slowly breathe through a washcloth while facing the stream for maximum humidity.

A thing I realized this evening is that the reason why I've never had a massive knee jerk reaction about waterboarding (even though I should), is that I very nearly do that to myself when I have chest congestion with a bad cough.
