Having learned tonight that USB 3.0+ interferes with 2.4Ghz wifi, I'm now wondering wtf the world is playing at with USB 3.0+ PC peripherals. Madness.
I do love it when Airbnb hosts leave some nice bedtime reading for the kids
I'll admit as much as I lean pro-tram on the Roseburn Path thing, it was bloody useful tonight for cycling to Haymarket from the west. #stormamy
Do we know who approved this? Local FB groups suggested it was Tesco? It's been needed for years, just needs lights now.
Great wee Scottish folklore podcast I've been enjoying listening to with the kids over the summer (during the many day trips).

WIN!
The irony that they champion saving the Roseburn Path then proceed to rip out the connection between there and Silverknowes/Cramond.
Absolute con artists.
Damn. A new Alien series released and here's me sitting in silence. I will go ham if this messes with my precious... again.
Flashbacks and Fort Knox level plot armour are two massive bugbears of mine. Otherwise enjoyable but I'll ultimately judge on the quality of the series.
Movie you've watched more than 300 times using gif ("Hard mode" no Star Wars, Star Trek or LOTR)
Enjoy Dave. I really want to go back to ArcTanGent again this year, last year a blast. First festival in forever.
Thanks for the update. Not a great alternative but needs must for some.
Not completely familiar with egress from the path to Chapelhill. Does this have stairs? Is it cargo bike/heavy e-bike friendly?

For anyone concerned, this is a hit-piece on bikes.
There are some fair arguments about green spaces but a 2m wide old railway line should be considered a backbone of cycling infra.

Cycle lanes need to be red. Car drivers are a simple breed, they get very nervous driving on red surfaces.
It's part of the family
Trip the The Range
Used computer chair strapped to a cargo bike
Been car free for around 2 weeks whilst it undergoes a gearbox replacement and it's been an absolute breeze with our 'second car'.
Shopping, nursery runs, visits to the city centre and beyond, cinema trips.
Not all cyclists wear lycra and most shouldn't need to.

We're not all like that π
Aye patchy memories myself. It had sweet shops, chippies, Croc, Lion and Echo Rocks. Never change!
Went last year for the first time since the early 90s, glorious weather, and felt like it hadn't changed that much.
Excellent gig
This looks amazing
Do you think it's right for a council school to be actively involved in something politically driven by a particular party?
Personally I don't, whatever your or my opinion is of this subject matter.
I wasn't far from here last week. Glorious innit

It's not always ideal over there, compromises have been made but ultimately bikes have their place. The ease of which you can safely cycle through the Dutch capital to reach various shops on quiet, relatively car-free streets is so alien. And it really shouldn't be in this country.
Some of the cycling/2 wheeled superhighways between Leiden, Wassenaar and The Hague. Go anywhere on a bike or moped, feel safe. Another world
Wassenaar, green everywhere, plenty of space for everyone
Wassenaar, one way roads, beautiful bi-directional lanes
Wassenaar, bi directional lanes one one side, uni on the other
Wassenaar, protected intersections, extremely efficient and safe
