so inspired by all the talented artists on here! thought i would share my first bird embroidery — the south philippine dwarf kingfisher (ceyx mindanensis) 💗

Everyone starts somewhere! I had a lot of fun practicing different stitches in this hoop and already saw how I improved comparing the different patches of plants 😊 Highly encourage you to try 😉

Thank you! Embroidery is such a great hobby to take up though 😉 I found it to be suuuper beginner-friendly and quite inexpensive to start, especially compared to other hobbies I want to try (like pottery 😩)
