Looking bad for Labour in South London when former Labour mayors of Southwark & Lambeth are voting for us this May.

Welcome to all the many former Labour voters who are voting for us now.

Catherine O’Hara, actor known for Home Alone and Schitt’s Creek, dies aged 71 Actor, also known for Beetlejuice and her work with Christopher Guest, died after a brief illness

Such heartbreaking news to wake up to this morning. I grew up watching Home Alone (and Home Alone 2) over and over as a kid, and Schitt's Creek made the pandemic just that little bit more bearable. A truly brilliant and hilarious actor.

Tonight's turret meeting will be pretty awkward

Great piece there, Gareth. A lot that resonated with me as someone who's dating at the very end (eek!) of my 30s! Really hope 2026 is a good year for you on the dating front (and every other front).

I mean, great, making it optional rather than mandatory is an improvement. But this whole scheme is still a waste of money and will do little if anything to solve any real problems the country faces. The public are against it and Labour really just need to scrap the whole thing.

Ed is absolutely right here. Trump is threatening to seize the territory of a UK ally. Such abhorrent behaviour - no different to Putin's invasion of Ukraine - should see sanctions on the US at the absolute minimum.

The action is a refusal to acknowledge a clear violation of international law and the unjustified use of force by the US in Venezuela. Or have Labour condemned it and I've missed it?

Labour hits record low in London with Tories 4th behind Greens and Reform, new poll EXCLUSIVE: Just 31% of Londoners now say they would vote for Sir Keir Starmer’s party, according to a Savanta survey, down from 43% at the 2024 General Election

A specific London poll it seems

Where did I say that Labour had backed the US administration over its actions in Venezuela?

06.01.2026 18:44 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

I joined the Liberal Democrats because of the Iraq War and Charles Kennedy's principled stance against it.

20 years later and, once again, a Labour government appears indifferent to international law and the use of force without justification. History repeating itself.

The UK government is unable to say that the US shouldn't invade Denmark? I get that diplomacy can be sensitive, but this response from Mike Tapp is pathetic.

Feeling pretty seen by this! This is *actually* on my Christmas Wish List... Not sure my niece (8) and nephew (3 months) are on BlueSky but if they are, they know what to get me now.

My mum has made Nigella's yule log every Christmas for the last few years and it is divine. This week she said she was thinking of doing something else (!) and I told her I wouldn't come home if she did. Pleased to confirm she is, once again, making it.

The difference that having 72 Lib Dem MPs makes! πŸ”Ά

Great to see us moving one step closer to a customs union with the EU and starting to fix our broken relationship with Europe!

09.12.2025 15:47 πŸ‘ 6 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

If Labour is serious about growth, their MPs will back the @libdems.org.uk Bill to establish a UK-EU customs union. The majority of the county now things Brexit was a mistake and should be reversed. And we know businesses are struggling and this would help massively. This should be a no brainer.

The myth that Labour is a "progressive party" has been well and truly shattered.

Deporting children who've been born in the UK to countries with with which they have no connection is immoral and cruel.

Labour needs to be far better than this.

Um... The @libdems.org.uk have been calling out the disaster of Brexit for years. We're literally running a campaign right now to rejoin the Customs Union. We called out Brexit's impact on our economy at last week's budget. Not exactly sure how we could be any louder about this...

@hinabokharild.bsky.social has been working tirelessly to raise awareness of growing levels of Islamophobia. It is a stain on our society and we all have a part to play in fighting it. Thank you for all you're doing Hina. 🧑

Imagine being turned away from a bathroom, hospital, or cinema for β€œnot looking female enough”. The leaked EHRC guidance could do just that. Along with my Lib Dem colleagues, I’ve written to the Minister calling for new, inclusive, practical guidance that protects everyone’s rights.

Thank you @mariecgoldman.bsky.social and all Lib Dem MPs who signed this letter. The draft EHRC guidance is unfair and unworkable. Really proud that our party continues to stand up for the fair treatment and dignity of trans and non-binary people, holding true to our values of freedom and equality.
