Role: Stroke Support Coordinator,
Hours: 21 hours per week
We are looking for enthusiastic, skilled and motivated individual to be part of a pioneering service supporting stroke affected people adapt to life after stroke.
For those living locally to our good friends at Redcatch Community Garden, this looks like a great resource.
Urinary incontinence is a very common complication of stroke, affecting 40-60% of people in the acute, initial stage of stroke recovery. According to the Stroke Association, around 15% of stroke survivors are left with long-term (1+ year) continence problems.

We were delighted to join the Bristol & Clifton Golf Club Womenβs Division for their Bring and Buy Sale in early February, raising funds for Bristol After Stroke and BUST Bristol.
A huge thank you to @nocohair for choosing Bristol After Stroke in their Care with Hair campaign. We received 10 free haircuts to share with volunteers, staff and our Stroke Cafe raffles - and the feedback has been wonderful. One volunteer said they βfelt brighter because of it.β
