While this action is specific to the UNC system, the restriction of academic freedom affects all of us.
Please consider signing the North Carolina AAUP's letter to the UNC Board of Governors, asking them to vote NO on a measure that would rewrite the very meaning of academic freedom and restrict what faculty can say and do in both their classrooms and the public.
