I've begun working a bit for @brokestudio.bsky.social on a game concept using their 'rainbow' cart, allowing often rumoured/seldom seen mmc5-style 8x8 attributes & tilecount per scene; NES displayable.

lots of people run it on wine. a good deal of effort has gone into making accomodations for linux users even if it’s not native.

thanks! on the NES in particular, it’s the most stable-appearing ”gradient” too (dither patterns come with an array of artifact issues, as does vertical bars somewhat), but you need to be a little mindful of what colours you combine for the PAL audience (bc of vertical chroma blur)

Addendum to the NEXXT 3.7 release

Despite testing, some bugs were discovered after while recording new tutorials.

Here's some things to avoid 'til i release a patch:
-Don't delete sprites
-Don't paste sprites

both may create difficult to deal with behaviour.

+3 minor bugs.
Halfway through fixing
