Also side note I'm low-key shaking from making this post. I never really openly told everyone why I was avoiding Twitch so much since 2019. So. Now you know! 😁
Anyway! Just wanted to both celebrate, rant and reflect on everything that sparked my life here in Japan exactly 10 years ago. Shout out to Dragon Ball Xenoverse for being THE game to let me standout, the DBZ community!
If Twitch wants to level with me, revive my partnership badge, give me that award as recognition for helping them get a foothold in Japan. Then you know what? Sure. I'll make it all water under the bridge and see Twitch in a new light.
Funny now that Twitch is cool with the idea of you multi-platform streaming and forgave so many (similar to me) but I guess mine was too early. I get asked MANY times if I'll ever stream again or if I'll ever go for the partnership but I'm honestly so burnt by everything.
The only thing I'm sad about is Twitch never sent me a trophy or any recognition when they handed out awards to their partnered creators. I guess they were salty when I tried Mixer to test (RIP) then they revoked my checkmark on my channel. Thus making me inert to getting it-
It is weird that they got rid of Global mods and later rebranded it as a Twitch ambassador. I do wonder how things would have changed if they kept all the OG peeps instead of disbanding us all? blog.twitch.tv/en/2018/12/1...
