It's going to be interesting! My own sense is that there are already a bunch of jobs that really don't need to be done, and I'd like the economy to shift to value the largely feminized labour that needs to be done IRL, but idk when or how that will come to pass, if it does.

I love writing essays and I haven't done anything like that in a long time, but I don't know whether it's truly my bag. A one-off deep dive into something only 3 other people care about that consumes six months of my life sounds like a great time, but that's also time I could be making art.
I'm working on a horror/crime novel now, in a very different style. It's not the straightforward supernatural horror novel I would like to be writing, but I'm still not sure how to approach that and I've got a million ideas for this. I just want my morning writing sessions to be fun, so here we go.

I don't think AI is going to replace all jobs, but if it DID, we would need Universal Basic Income immediately.

Finally got time to read another excellent piece by @taliabhatt.itch.io and I'm cackling at how well she uses a facetious tone.
This is an incredibly satisfying takedown of the INFURIATING ways intersectionality is rhetorically wielded to argue for the exact mindsets Crenshaw uses it to critique.
It is wild how much caring about my appearance helps my overall mental health. I still fall back into despair sometimes, feeling like (without surgery) there is nothing I can do to feel beautiful, and then I do my nails and start thinking the world might be alright.
