Perhaps because Bluesky has a similar look and feel to X/Twitter, which lowers the barrier to entry for most residents. I think they're not necessarily consolidating their social presence, they still use others like Facebook, Instagram, and Nextdoor - but rather looking to just move away from X.

Honestly, no one needs a billion dollars anyway. Most of them pay lower federal income tax than middle-class Americans in recent years while using that extreme wealth to influence politicians. Time to tax the rich.
