Honestly, probably a good idea as a baseline
Honestly, probably a good idea as a baseline
Maybe it says something that my follows are reeeeeally spread out on the map, with no apparent pattern tying them together
In my experience, that's usually not as much of a compliment as you think it is. But maybe that's just me
Ok, I'm glad <3
I can't tell how many of these tweets are serious and how many are jokes
A lot of these have very expressionist vibes and actually left quite an impression on me. Yours included. Great work!
Something very poly in me read this and immediately thought: "of course, why wouldn't you?"
In my experience, you have to be a bit more concrete and establish some more limitations. Otherwise students will just get paralyzed by choice
Personally I've always had a lot of difficulties teaching "good" melody writing. At most, I've managed to focus on using the notes of the harmony as a baseline and then using tension and patterns to play around with it. I've never been taught more than that though when I was a student
I've never used Suno, but I remember from Adam Neely's video that Suno has a functionality where you can sing a melody to it and it will create the rest? I think. Would have to check
My personal experience when I tried doing that wasn't super positive. I realized I was spending more time worldbuilding than actually writing, and then didn't actually use the notes I wrote for anything. I hope your experience is more positive though!
This is so pretty! I would love to be able to emulate this style one day
I *think* you can use Notion with a web browser. That's the most obvious suggestion that comes to mind
That's a solid enough reason. Huh, I guess Discord really is filling this extremely niche purpose unintentionally. Never thought of it that way.
Or maybe they do and don't really notice it creeping in
Question: is there any reason why you can't just use a cloud service for this? Feels like the most intuitive for me
I mean, as dumb as it sounds, isn't Whatsapp usable for this? It's what my ex used at the time, anyway. I imagine it compresses images, but other than that it works.
I find this argument strange. When you're learning music using Suno, you're not the one owning the means of production, Suno is. Suno can take all the AI-specific skills you acquired in the process away from you any time they like. You can only create music with permission from the big guys.
I listen to It Could Happen Here's Executive Disorder specifically to experience @bishonentype.bsky.social 's increasingly unhinged levels of unraveling
Absolutely, and I know that experience very well. I just hate to see us counting the days until we get fatter, older, uglier, etc.
Dw, I empathize
Idk man, I just get sad when seeing people talking about themselves like this
My point isn't to invalidate your feelings, or course. I know how much it hurts to hate your own body. But I guess with this I just want to say that things aren't that black or white, and that you should probably be kinder to your current and past selves. That's all
People absolutely do lust after women with belly, because to a lot of people that stuff really just doesn't matter. It's just a lot harder to notice over conventional means
Apologies for interjecting, but I feel like your whole premise is... flawed? Like, sure, fatphobia and conventional beauty standards exist, we all hate them, but complying with those standards is never going to replace self-compassion
I made a map of 3.4 million Bluesky users - see if you can find yourself!
bluesky-map.theo.io
I've seen some similar projects, but IMO this seems to better capture some of the fine-grained detail
Weirdly threatening
What would be the equivalent of fainting in this case? Lol
I feel like the weather I hate the most is when it's warm enough for me to really want to go for a walk, but at the same time it's raining with no signs of stopping so you can't. Gotta love Fall
Or anything from the Ace Combat Series, to be fair. A massive drone carrier, the Megalith asteroid artillery thing... just so many possibilities
It's just a battlefield wound don't think too much about it
