I know that feeling. I was out of town with my horse and got an early morning wake up that all the horses were gone. We found evidence of them all over the place but they were back for breakfast when we came to check. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I always loved horses but this horse was my heart horse. We had 16.5 amazing years together and I am unlikely to have that depth of bond again. He sealed my love of horses forever.

A day riding is good. A day just spending time and being with a horse friend is great! Riding without the bonding time is lacking.

I think you’re right I just can’t figure out how they’ll use an existing place. As far as I know Paso Robles, Galway Downs, and Woodside are the only CA eventing facilities at that level.

I guess the next comment noted Santa Anita, still trying to think where cross country will go

I wonder where they will do it. I don’t know of any other place in the area that could handle the eventing. Thermal could do the show jumping
