We need a new generation of leaders who are the voices of democracy, freedom, social justice, & the rule of law.
A new generation that renews the “we” in “we the people.”
Instead of fretting over Zohran Mamdani, the Democratic Party should embrace him as part of its future.

andrew cuomo is emblematic of everything people despise about the democratic party and zohran is everything people want in politics, he represents hope for a better world

Thanks for the tip! I used Asana in a different role and liked it. I’m currently working with the older generation 65+. Any advice on adoption support?

I love this direction. Especially for a nonprofit leader, small budgets mean every minute I can spare goes back into mission delivery.

I don't understand how some folks are unable to see that the illegal disappearing of people is a class issue. The wealthy and well-connected get due process. The rest of us don't. This is part of the oligarchy, not a distraction from it.

State Terror
A brief guide for Americans
"the president defied a Supreme Court ruling to return a man mistakenly sent to a gulag... and spoke of sending Americans to foreign concentration camps.
This is the beginning of an American policy of state terror, and it has to be identified as such to be stopped"

A photo of Lisa McCorkell, a white woman with brown hair and a bright smile, wearing a cream-colored sweater and standing near a backdrop of yellow roses. Each slide features a quote from Lisa’s The Sick Times interview in Black text.
The text reads, "Learning about the history of neglect, and that the reason Long COVID is as unaddressed as it is, that we don’t have treatments, that we don’t have a cure, is because of the historical neglect and underfunding of those conditions — it really reinforced, to me, early on, the importance of cross-disability solidarity. In addition to the overlapping mechanisms amongst many subtypes of Long COVID and IACCs, just remembering that we’re all in this together, no one gets left behind, and we’re stronger together."
@lisamccorkell.bsky.social, one of the founders of the Patient-Led Research Collaborative, recently stepped down. @betsyladyzhets.bsky.social talked with her about collaborating on #LongCOVID studies, advocating for federal funding, developing new patient-led initiatives, and more. bit.ly/4locCyU

A reminder that if the government can send migrants to a prison camp without any due process, it can send U.S. citizens there, too. I know because this happened to me and my family in 1942.

Can we stop calling these atrocities "deportations." These people sold to El Salvadorian prisons were not deported. Deportation is a process that did not take place. They were rounded up and removed with no process. They were kidnapped, not deported.

Tweet from @A_B_morgan:
My seven-year-old asked for a dictionary this week. We went to the bookshop today to buy one. She walked home hugging it, pausing every so often to look up a word, grinning as though she had been given a book of spells, the key to wonders.
Merriam-Webster QT: The kids are alright.
You had us at "a book of spells, the key to wonders."
