Showing promise on January 3 Amaryllis ‘Evergreen’ reached for the sky. In the past couple of days it has opened to present these lime-green starry flowers. And a new flower shoot as well. Thoroughly pleased!

Fern-like green leaves of the herb sweet Cicely in the garden. Picked some to freeze for next year!
Sweet Cicely is looking good still but think frost ahead will do for it. Have picked some for freezing… for next year’s rhubarb dishes!
