My kid is HOH and I've started learning ASL (side note--it's exciting to learn but can also be complex!). I did beta-read a chapter with a character who uses ASL.. I hope the writer took my feedback to heart!

Not understating, not quoting to show the ridiculousness and let the viewer come to their own conclusions (Benatar we all know there are segments of populations who will blindly accept quotes at face value as truth.)
Okay I don't know this guy and maybe that makes me uninformed, but he looks like a media professional and it's SO FREAKING REFRESHING to see someone reacting appropriately to this shit show in media.
